Colby College and Project Y

I am so behind on news! A lot is cooking here in the KBQ kitchen, but two recent developments..

First, I am just back from Maine seeing a fantastic production of my play WENDY AND THE NECKBEARDS at Colby College. Kevin R. Free - a dear friend and collaborator - was in the director’s seat. I can honestly say this was one of the most wonderful experiences I’ve had as an artist. The design team turned out some top notch work, and the student actors gave nothing short of a Herculean effort. Everyone at Colby was so warm and wonderful. I hope to go back someday (hopefully when its a little warmer!). There are production photos here.

Second, I am thrilled to be joining the 2020 Project Y Playwrights Group alongside such amazing writers as Tori Keenan-Zelt, Amina Henry, and Judith Leora. Really excited to work with a brand new cohort and finally finish this play I’ve been toying with the past few months.
